PERENNIAL growing to 0.3 m (1ft) by 0.3 m (1ft in). Prefers partly shaded sites. Hardy to zone 5. It is in flower from May to November. These exquisite little berries hardly need introduction, but if you haven’t tasted the wild variety you are missing something! Although F. vesca primarily propagates via runners (it is an excellent ground-cover plant) viable seeds are also found in soil and seen to germinate when the soil is disturbed (away from existing populations of F. vesca). The flowers are pollinated by Bees, flies, lepidoptera. Produces POLLEN & NECTAR. PLANTS packs of four 9cm plants £4.00
