NATIVE PERENNIAL WILDFLOWER growing to 0.6 m (2ft) by 0.6 m (2ft in). Suits dry soil. Hardy to zone 4. It is in flower from July to October. An extremely attractive plant with two-tone yellow snapdragon-like flowers, a familiar native. It has a long history of herbal use, acting mainly on the liver and was once widely used as a diuretic in the treatment of oedema. The flowers are pollinated by larger Bees. Produces POLLEN & NECTAR.
