NATIVE PERENNIAL WILDFLOWER growing to 1.5 m (5ft) by 1 m (3ft 3in).
Hardy to zone 5. It is in flower from June to August. A major source of nectar, it yields 60-70 pounds of honey per acre. Bears masses of sweetly scented pink or white flowers. Also a frequently used medicinal herb with a long, proven record, especially for its effect as a tranquilliser for people suffering from nervous disorders and shown to encourage sleep, improve sleep quality and reduce blood pressure. The flowers are pollinated by Bees, flies, beetles. Produces NECTAR.
