Evergreen perennial. Hardy to zone 3. A magnificent 5-6ft tall plant, one of the finest in this genus. The flowering stem branches at the base giving a huge candelabra effect, each bearing numerous yellow flowers 1" across. Flowers in the second, sometimes third year, and providing forage during the June-gap dearth. This plant, though not a long-lived perennial, does self-seed nicely. Plants 2L £2.80. 2 year old plants will be flowering this year.
